About Shireland LLC

Shireland is a family business.

We bought our first rural property in 2009 - 20 acres of field and forest in rural Ohio that later became our home. At times that property reminded us of past travel in Ireland and scenes from one of our favorite books, we put the two images together and named the smallholding "Shireland."

Today we seek out vacant land across the US and help other families to own and make a home in their own little Shire.
